Digital Media
Digital media means different things to different people. It is not to be confused with social media (Facebook, Twitter). For this class, Digital Media is defined as the means by which people communicate or transfer information electronically. The platforms include text, audio, video, and pictures.

Restoration
In this project, I learned to use more photoshop tools. I used the spot healing, patch, and crop tool. It was really easy to use the patch tool, because this picture was black and white. This was not what I expected because it took more time to heal this image than anticipated. One small photo like this took almost an hour to be restored, imagine the time used to retouch pictures models take.
Creature of the Night
This image is a Halloween project for Creature of the Night that I've worked on in my Digital Media class for period 1. I used many tools from Photoshop C3 to create this image of Johnny Tran, a fellow student from the same class. The tools I've used includes the lasso, brush, and magic wand tool. They're the basics so it made things easier in this project. At first I didn't really know what to do. I know that I lacked the creativity and skill to make him into something scary, so as I look at Johnny's pose, it gave me an idea. I based him off a video game character. It was simple to just give him a ball of lightning and recolor his skin. This project was really fun because we were able to alter the way our friends look, we had a few laughs.
